AAB3251: FARM ATTACHMENT [45 LH]

PURPOSE OF THE COURSE

Give learners experiential learning in the farm-based field.

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of this course the trainee should be able:

1. Relate the practices learnt in place of attachment with principles learnt in class
2. Fit well in the work place
3. Analyse the workplace outlining the challenges and suggesting ways to improve the performance of the firm/organization

COURSE CONTENT

Students will be attached for 8 weeks in Public and private agricultural /horticultural farms, where they will gain relevant experience in production of agricultural produce/products and submit a report.
